This CALmatters PolicyMatters panel discussion will explore the state’s ambitious and experimental policies to reduce greenhouse gases. What’s worked? What hasn’t? And will the policies continue under a new governor and legislature? Our panel will feature representatives from industry, environmental advocacy and government, including the author of California’s landmark climate bill, former state Sen. Fran Pavley. The panel will be moderated by Julie Cart, CALmatters’ Pulitzer Prize-winning environmental writer.

Boxed lunch will be provided.

Panelists:
Hon. Fran Pavley, USC Schwarzenegger Institute for State and Global Policy and Former State Senator
John White, Executive Director, Center for Energy Efficiency & Renewable Technologies
Michael Shaw, VP, Government Relations, California Manufacturers & Technology Association

Moderated by:
Julie Cart, Environment Reporter, CALmatters
