With 415 pledged Democratic delegates in play, California is holding the most closely watched Super Tuesday presidential primary. But don’t expect a complete picture of the results for weeks to come.

Below are results from the California Secretary of State, updated as counting continues in the hours and days to come.

But because most Californians now vote by mail and their ballots need only by postmarked by Election Day and arrive by Friday to be counted, millions of ballots potentially have yet to be tabulated. Results provided by the Secretary of State are still partial, with some precinct reports representing relatively few votes. Don’t expect a complete picture of the results for weeks.
