Today is the last day to register to vote in California if you want to have your say in the 2018 midterms—and you can register right here.

On Nov. 6, state voters will select a new governor, decide key Congressional races that could determine whether Democrats retake control of the House, and determine the fate of 11 ballot propositions on gas tax, rent control, farm animal cages and more.

Not sure if you’re registered? You can check  here.

For other questions, be sure to check out our CALmatters FAQ sheet.

After today, people can still register conditionally until Election Day on Nov. 6 at a county election office. Learn more about conditional voter registration here. Look up your county election office here.

Once you’re registered, take a deeper dive into your ballot with our voter guide. Have a few minutes to spare? Be sure to watch our one-minute explainer videos on each of the propositions and play this interactive game to help you decide how to vote on the ballot measures.
