Isadora Kosofsky

Isadora Kosofsky is an award-winning photojournalist and filmmaker in Los Angeles. She is known for her humanistic and embedded storytelling, focusing on individuals and communities for years. She has reported on healthcare, disability rights, mass incarceration, COVID-19 related issues, aging, and the impact of trauma on youth and families. A frequent contributor to the New York Times, she has worked for National Geographic Magazine, TIME, the New Yorker, and others. She is a TED Fellow and gave a talk about documentary photography at TED 2018. Her book, Senior Love Triangle, which focuses on three older people navigating romance and intimacy, was published by Kehrer Verlag in 2020. She is a part of CatchLight’s inaugural Mental Health Visual Desk.
