Kate Wolffe is a politics reporter at CalMatters, where she tracks whether lawmakers deliver on their promises and how their decisions show up in Californians’ lives. She previously covered the California Legislature for The Sacramento Bee and healthcare for CapRadio. Before that, she was a reporter and weekend anchor for KQED-FM in San Francisco, toting a microphone to every corner of the storied city. Raised in the East Bay Area, she is a proud graduate of UC Berkeley.
